If you're heading to Matsuyama, Bakushuku Den Guest House Brew is an absolute must-stay. This charming spot is just a stone's throw from local gems, and the blend of a Japanese-style house with a lively brewery downstairs makes for a unique experience. Den and Nao, the lovely hosts, treated us like family, sharing local recommendations and crafting fantastic conversations over craft beer. We found the communal areas roomy and well-equipped, perfect for our family vibe, especially with the kitchen just around the corner. Though the noise from the bar kept us on our toes at night, a quick pair of earplugs did the trick - and we appreciated the atmosphere that comes with a bustling brewery below. If you're open to exploring local cuisine, Den will help you find a cozy spot for dinner. I'll certainly be back for more of this friendly and authentic experience!
